onsidering the clearness of its racing action, Clutch is additional of a story-focused game than you force expect. The setting is near-what may occur hereafter Europe, where an unexpected quantum consummation at the Large Hadron Collider (a vast particle accelerator due to open in recent 2009) has turned most of the space’s population into mush-brained mutants. As a runner named Clutch, you join a cord of hoodlums called the Harvesters and essay to discover the secrets of the Collider.
There are nay cutscenes or spoken dialogue; the parable is doled out entirely within diary entries displayed before story challenges. This isn’t every engaging way of delivering a story (and some weird translation issues don’t help), but you shouldn’t take the prey up on its offers to grow off journal entries. The images they conjure–a blind cult leader, human sacrifices–are outlandish and disturbing, and they create a bright picture of a society driven maniac by fear.
